The largest ever trade show to be held in Australia has wrapped up at the Sydney Showground for another four years. With over 600 domestic and international exhibitors spread over 45,000 sqm, the Australasian International Mining Exhibition is one of the world’s top mining exhibitions. Over 17,000 people streamed through the gates over the four days of the exhibition to see the latest in mining innovation.

Drivetrain has expanded its ANZ operations by opening a new Branch in Adelaide and moving to larger facilities in Newcastle and Auckland. All three facilities will be equipped to provide a range of services, including genuine spare parts supply, technical support and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) for off-highway powertrain components, as well as in-field support of the Gastrain business.

The Victorian Government in conjunction with Toyota Australia has conducted the C21 Challenge program, first piloted in 2008/9, with more than 40 component suppliers. The aim of the program is to “improve the global competitiveness and sustainability for the 21st Century” of Australian suppliers, by providing them with tools to develop business strategies and improve processes.
