Joined by our People & Culture and Finance teams, the conference encouraged strong cross-functional collaboration, with a clear focus on improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer support, and building a sustainable, scalable business for the future.

We were pleased to have our Managing Director & CEO, Dean Draper, in attendance, contributing valuable insights to our strategic planning discussions.

The final day of the conference was led by General Manager Mark Griffith, who facilitated a dedicated strategy session centred on Drivetrain’s future direction. This session reinforced key priorities and growth opportunities, ensuring strong alignment across the leadership group as we move forward.

A highlight of the visit was a tour of our Thornton workshop, where recent upgrades and a redesigned layout are already delivering improved efficiency and increased capacity to support growing customer demand across our service, overhaul and rebuild capabilities.

The conference also included leadership development sessions delivered by Michelle Broms from the Institute for Communication, Management and Leadership (ICML). These sessions focused on practical tools and approaches to strengthen leadership capability and support high-performing teams across the business.

While the conference focused on leadership, it ultimately reflects the strength of the entire Drivetrain organisation. Our leadership team plays a key role in setting direction, but it is the skill, commitment and expertise of our people across every branch and function that consistently delivers results for our customers.
